Been planning this for the past two months. Started cutting pieces today that I didn't already have cut at lowes. Some was done there and the rest, I'll be doing myself. The top is 48"X21". As I do this project, there will be pic with step by step tips, etc. Below is a pic of how it'll look thanks to thisissafety over at instructables.com. I'll be following his design for this project. Several pieces are ready or near ready. The other two pics below show the cutting of the 48x21 top piece for the controller that all the buttons will pass through.

Cool as it is, at that size I can't imagine wanting/being able to to play a game with it with any amount of success...Just moving hands from A to B is going to be slower/clumsier than a stock controller.

A long time ago I happened upon the original joystick controller for the NES...Those have a real arcade feeling of quality to them, work well, and seem to make many games easier to play.

Ironic that you picked this time to comment on it. Due to the overwhelming interest on here and my lack of, I decided just last night to give up on it. The may was tossed out and I sold all my tools to an older guy who is remodeling his house and makes his own cabinets. Made a pretty good amount. Time to buy more video games! Anyway, I realize more and more as I get older, my skills just ain't up to spec. As they used to be and sometimes I have trouble with things. I couldn't see getting so far on this thing and then mess up something really bad.
