CTC-15 Remote Control

1 Attachment(s)
Im starting a new thread on this. I have a CPT 10 reciever and a handheld that I believe dosn't belong with it. The Sams shows a very different layout on the handheld and an adjustment to tweak each function frequency. The one I have has only one trimmer cap and of course the core of the transformer itself.
Two of the function frequencies are WAY off. Channel is right on at 44khz. The rest I'm sure could be tuned OK at the rciever end, they are close enough. I realy dont want to try to tune the errant reciever coils above 50khz to capture the wacked functions.
Is there a closer handheld? Is this the wrong one? Is there a schematic for this? What model did it realy go to? Can I just jingle my car keys just right for the various function? Will I ever stop with remote questions?

I replaced the original variable cap was soldered to in an attemt to save it. (fail)
