well i got the fada and its 1947 tv125 and it was 50.00 so i checked the crt first and it showed very good but the life test showed the needle dropped kind of fast but i dont know how accurate that test really is. i found one resistor burned in 2 and one of the can caps leaked so that one is bad as well as all the others.and all tubes have to be replaced. there was a puddle of wax in the cabinet under the flyback but upon opening the hv cage i find that the flyback had light colored rust like new metal and if the wax came from this flyback it would have piled on the bottom of the flyback befor reaching the cabinet, so the fly was changed. i now have a photofact coming for it from ebay, that will help.th cabinet needs some tlc but ill get it there. the crt is a sylvania and i dont know if its original or it came with that brand.

Does it have channel one? Does it look like a 630 clone. Never had a Fada set. I have to look up the Sams on it.

no it starts at channel 2-13 and it is said that this tv had used a rca chassis because there wasnt much of anything else back then, at least thats what i read from a restorer of this kind of set.

I acquired an almost complete Sams library. I couldn't find a model TV125 listed in the Sams index. I just wanted to see what it looks like.
