Well, personally, I'm now glad no one paid attention to this, as it now appears I got ripped off. The site, and the company are suddenly gone. Non existant. I'm back at square one, with no website. Bill Cahill :tears: :thumbsdn:  :sigh:

Well, here we go, again. Now the site is back up, and working, Our friend, Chuck Schwank, found the site, and it is alive. I tried my link, again, and, it is now working. Go figure... :thmbsp:

It looks good to me, however I think it would benefit business more if you had pics of your sets in operation

You could also have a display room of your work so that when customers drop by you can show your work off!

I wish you were closer to me. I have some old radios that have me stumped.

Hey Bill

Great stuff! :thmbsp: I see you dont mention the RCA 641TV combination you have in the background, is it working and complete? I have the same set and it was missing the correct phonograph, after six years I finally got the right one to complete it. Is your whole collection photographed or do you still need to add more pixs? I like seeing other collectors collections!

doug621ts,

The 641TV in the first picture is mine. It is complete and has the correct record player. That will be my winter project. Bill does have TWO 641TV combos. One is blonde and the other is a the dark cabinet. Bill's dark cabinet 641TV is for trade or sale on the trading page on audiokarma.

Bill's 6T74 is at my house waiting for me to deliver it. I am pony expressing the set.

Thanks, Polaraman. Thought I'd explained that, but, guess not. Sorry. My blonde one, I have the radio restored, and playing. My record players are in correct. They are 3 speed rca victor add ons put on professionally. Haven't started work on tv in blonde cabinet yet. I got kinda burned out after the amplifier. Original speaker was destroyed. I bought an orignal that openned on first try. Got another original that was open. Put in a temporary incorrect one to get it playing. Then, I found another original that I installed, and voolah! It plays!!

That nightmare, coupled with the one restoring the radio chassis just burned me out. One day I will start on tv.

No. I have more pictures to take. I also will take some pictures of equipment playing, including my 7" hallicrafters, and my 7' Motorola.

After Polaraman delivers my two jewels, I will be swapping parts to the best cabinet, and show picture of set together at my house. After restoration of that set, I will show a picture of it playing. Will take a while. I'm very low on funds, and eating is more important.

Thanks for everything, Polaraman.

Guys, aint' this fun?? Bill Cahill

Hi. Over the next few days, I will start taking pics of working items. The first ones, I think, will be my playing 7" hallicrafters, and a 10" RCA Victor I own. I had help on that one, I confess. I did little on it. I did replace a bad speker, and some tuning work on it. John Folsom actually traded that set to me as a restored, playing set needing more work.

I will show some record players in playing mode, and as time goes on, show more pics. This is an on going project. Watch for the pics. Should be popping up any day, now.

Does anyone have a good photo or catalog scan of a 641? I mention it in passing in my 630TS article ( http://antiqueradio.org/RCA630TSTelevision.htm ) and it would be nice to show it.
