I eMailed him too, but I don't want the set for space reasons. So if I get a response, I will pass it on to Adam or Jordan. Just doing my part to keep the TV out of the hands of anyone who might go grab it and gut it like the ad suggests!

The seller called back. Looks like i might be picking it up saturday or sunday! :D
I talked with him a bit, and learned that the set belongs to his mother, who bought it new! Its been in a smoke free environment. The only cosmetic issue is the old laquer is a little worn. The price is fair enough for me!

Dragged it home this afternoon. I met the original 85 year old owner, who was a very nice lady who was glad it wasn't being sent to the dump. I haven't powered it up yet, and I've just started cleaning and examination.
