Now that I got the horizontal circuits on my bakelite Admiral console working right, I'll have it connected to a TV modulator that in turn is connected to the luma NTSC output of my HDTV receiver set top box.
Don't forget to take some pictures of your vintage sets with the game on, and post them. :thmbsp:

I doubt I'll watch since I hate the steelers. If i do, it'll be on my 16" Andrea, 12" Philco, 17" Admiral and 17" Sylvania. I still haven't fixed the Halli.

"Super Bowl"... That's football, right?
Maybe my local PBS outlet will have another beg-a-thon I can watch instead for excitement. Or I could have "The Big Game" on, and leave during the game and watch the commercials (which are better than the game, usually) instead!

Just before kickoff. No on screen graphics, looks like the old days. Game on! :thmbsp:

Hey; I'm not alone!
I tape it, then fast forward through the game to watch the commercials later on. Or you can have a LOT of time to go to the bathroom. :D

There was a superbowl party at my house. Out opf the 25 or so people there I was the only one that really never cared. My TVs still need to be fixed though.
wa2ise,
That is one sweet picture. It looks nice and sharp.

:scratch2: Actually, those pix look pretty slick for such an old set in such great shape. Every time I see something like this, I am alway struck with the thought of "Wow. This is precisely how my parents used to watch TV way way back when! Quite adventuresome!"
Nicely done.
