I bought this CRT at an auction yesterday, didn't know it was there so I went ahead and won it incase it was one of those 10BP4's the ebayers love. Turns out its a VT111 from Phillips, google and ebay didn't turn up any info. VT is the numbering system from the military is it not ? Here are a couple of pictures.

oOoh, you did good: it's a 5BP4!

Prewar TV collectors pay handsomely for good ones.

It may be a 5BP4, but it is more likely a 5BP1, with green phosphor. If it is a 5BP4, they are worth $100 or so if good.

Too bad I don't have anything to light it up with and find the phosphor color, guess I'll list it as-is white or green. It also says SC-564-P on the other side of the base. On the glass up by the screen it has handwritten 716N-6. The base appears to be metal but its got cracks in the metal.

As soon as I saw it I thought it was a 5BP4 or 5BP1. I don't have a prewar set, but having a good one of these would be nice. :)
