I know nothing about it other than it's probably 50 years old and they want $199 for it. The cabinet was pretty nice. The screen is about 16 inches. I'm sure I can get more info if you are interested.

Washington St. and about Eppinger Blvd in Thornton, CO (Denver metro area) Steve McVoy 08-20-2005, 04:41 PM It is an early 50s rectangular screen console model, in fair condition. Maybe worth $50? Steve McVoy 08-20-2005, 11:47 PM Our website also shows that Cromwell made sets only in 1949. http://www.earlytelevision.org/postwar_manufacturers.html This set has a Cromwell plate on the front. The chassis is made by Regal, however. frenchy 08-25-2005, 02:26 AM The earlytelevision.org list is a little confusing, makers that are still making sets (Philips i.e. Magnavox, Sony) have blank ended years and so does this one that was only made one year. Current companies should say "exists" or something there. |
