Is this an AK'er?
Travis 08-10-2005, 09:36 PM Yes, they're both mine. I need to take control of my collecting and these are some of the largest I have. Well, I have a couple B/W combos that are worse.
luvvinvinyl 08-10-2005, 09:39 PM Good luck with the auctions.
old_tv_nut 08-11-2005, 04:57 PM What year is the CTC-11? Is there a schematic somewhere to look at? (Interested in what the color circuits had evolved to.)
polaraman 08-11-2005, 10:35 PM The CTC 11 would be 1960-61.

Jonathan 08-12-2005, 01:50 AM That CTC11 looks gorgous. Too bad I have no room. My CTC9 chassis needs some new tubes as someone broke then by throwing stuff on top of the chassis.... I'm still angry about it.... Anyway, I hope I can get my Felton going again.

blue_lateral 08-12-2005, 02:10 AM Gaahh! :yikes: Which ones? I could probably throw you some used ones if I have them.

jroberts500 08-17-2005, 08:35 AM ... for something I can live without but if they go cheap enough I could justify renting a U-haul and driving from Boca Raton, Fla?
orthophonic 08-17-2005, 11:32 AM The 15 in that cabinet is my dream set, but i shudder to think what shipping
to orlando, Florida would be.
vintagecollect 08-18-2005, 06:07 AM Both sets went cheap.
:yikes:
Hope the CTC15 winner knows posts on CRT cataract surgery.
rca2000 08-18-2005, 01:39 PM And so now, this will mean I will be takin' a tv-run, to get it. SO, I will ofer my services(for a fee), to pick up, or deliver, some item, that an AKer, on the way to, or from, picking up the tv might have need of being delivered , to offset my gas costs a little. I have a big minivan, and could haul a couple of speakers, another tv, or what-have-you.
BTW-- WHERE in Missouri, is this tv at? I am in the CIncinnati, Ohio area.
Steve D. 08-18-2005, 03:21 PM Jack,
Congratulations on winning the set. The model # 211-CD-435 suggests it's a CTC-10 from 1961. Although, I can't find that exact model 211-CD-435. The closest I can find is CTC-10 211-CD-835. So who knows? It may have to do with the cabinet wood finish.

Travis 08-18-2005, 10:21 PM It's in St. Louis MO and in my back bedroom currently.
It appeared to be Sams 550 folder 2.
Charlie 08-19-2005, 05:26 PM I have that same CTC15. It's been sittin in my garage waiting for me to finish it. I get a picture out of it now, but it still needs lots of work. I like the cabinet on it.

SO-- How soon do I need to "come and get it", can you wait, for a few weeks, or so?
If so, that would be nice, if not let me know, and I'll come as soon as I can.
Jack.
Travis 08-20-2005, 12:10 AM It can sit here a few months if need be. I was trying to downsize so I can finish the house.
rca2000 09-07-2005, 01:30 AM I would be ready to come after the Tv. I want to do this, when it is convenient for you.
Let me know.
Jack.
Travis 09-07-2005, 01:39 AM I can make arrangements for you to get it at any time. Just say whan and what time.
Travis
rca2000 09-16-2005, 01:16 AM So, do you need me to pay now, or can i wait, till I come and get it? Should be in a few weeks.
Travis 09-16-2005, 04:55 AM Jack,
I just wanted to clear that out of ebay. Let me know when you plan to come. Please email me directly. I doubt many of these guys care to read our personal business in here.
Travis
