The people that think making these sets into fishtanks should be drafted and traded for hostages in Iraq.

Personal opinion only. Nothing political.

Perhaps we could remove his non-working Eames-era brain!

Real class job, he just snipped the damn wires from the controls to the chassis and left them dangling, I guess those will look just like seaweed when the new owner fills it with goldfish and rocks...geeeeez

I found a bug eye zenith With a Real nice cabinet and the remote. The person did the same thing to it. {removed the crt and chassis}. I have been holding on to it in hopes that I may find a chassis and crt for it some day. That was five years ago.
After I got the set home I went back over there and called the guy every name in the book. He called the cops on me. The cops were laughing at me and told me to go home.

I can't stand these silly sh*theads that do this to TVs. His non-working brain should be removed, ground up into pulp, and poured back in his ear while his limbs are being eaten by flesh eating insects...

Q & A has revealed the fact that he still has "the guts"! Wonder if they'd be free to the winner of the auction?

YES! (for shipping, according to revised description. Also notes that part of the tuner shaft is gone--sawed off to hold the knob in place!!:gigglemad )

I guess that I am a little lucky. I have this same TV (with guts but minus stand) in my garage. It is a Admiral with "Super Cascode" below the bottom of the CRT.

I hope to restore it, but have had time yet.
