"What say I send a general description of 6,500 dollars for your invisible sets? There were half a dozen Predicta models at the least! What do you expect of me?"

Here's what I don't get... I expect such stupidity from Ebay newbies, yet I routinely see auctions from people with high, positive feedback (99.7% on 944 transactions in this case) with ridiculous starting bids, no photos, and bad descriptions!?! :scratch2:

The only thing I can figure ('cause I've done it myself) is that he's trying to get a listing online before some Ebay special ends, and plans to go back later and edit. Of course I usually mention that so that I don't turn people off from checking it later.

Then there was the time that I listed a late-40s RCA set with a $15,000,000 BIN, just for the attention, but at least I started the bidding at $1.00! :D

Good idea, Carmine. Only thing is, he is almost four days into a 7-day listing. :scratch2:

hijacked account?

Yeah, I thought of that too... But why hijack an account only to list on obscure item like a Predicta TV, for an unrealistic starting bid? All the hijacked accounts I've seen were for '71 Hemi 'Cudas with a $10,000 BIN (also unrealistic, but in the other direction).

Hmmm... :scratch2:

Were they offered by Nash Bridges I wonder? :lmao:
