As some of you know, I've made up all new networks for my Predicta Debutante and Seventeener II restorations. I've been asked if I will make them available. I'm working on that this past 2 weeks.

I've identified 31 separate part numbers for the networks to support the entire Predicta line along with the Seventeener II and III.

I have 17 designed so far. The rest will come hopefully this week. Some of them will use the same board but will have different capacitors/resistors. The process is a bit time consuming.

So be patient and over the next few weeks I should be able to have them for sale.

Wow, nice work. Wish these were around back in 2013 when I had the board off my Holiday. One of my networks was replaced by a previous owner (basic perf, nothing fancy), but the rest are original. I might be interested as well.

Thanks for doing this! It'll be a great resource for the community and a huge timesaver.

Is this something you might put on eBay? Should be some money to be made. I think it’s great you made them, and would buy some for my next predicta.

Ok, I only need 30 different part numbers. I have 23 designed so far. The 7 are for chassis 8L35 and 9H25. Seventeener II and III. I have the Seventeener II chassis 8H25 networks designed.

Getting there.

Just an update.
I finished the design on all 30 flavors. Now onto putting together an order, then double checking my work. Then to organize the "build" documents.
Getting closer.

Thought I'd see if there was any known errors in the documentation, both Sams, Riders, and Philco that I should know about. So if anybody knows of any errors, and or production changes, please let me know before I "freeze" the design on these 31 boards.

Thanks.

Latest update. I populated about 70 PCB's. Next up will be to pot them, paint them, then apply the part number. Then they'll go on sale. About a week guys.

Awesome work! I have nice condition ’60 Continental aka Danish Modern that really deserves a set of these. I’ll keep watching here for updates.

The first batch of networks are finished. Right now I have enough for a couple of sets for each chassis 9L37, 9L38, 10L4X, and 11L43.

On to pricing and making up the ad copy.

These things have been a lot of work.

Very, very soon guys.

Very nice. And making those looks like a full time hobby in itself. ;)

Even though I don't need any of your networks I want to point out as a technician that this is very clean, authentic and impressive detail work :thmbsp:

I'm toying with the idea of soldering these from above without removing the board. What I mean is snipping the old networks off, but leave enough metal above the board to solder the new networks to. Of course, if there's no feasible way to do it, I'll just bite the bullet and pull the dreaded board off again (had it off 5 yrs. ago). And yes, the replacements Crist made are indeed excellent.

Sound like it might work. Might be a tough to do though. Let me know when you need the Networks.
Thank you for the kind words.

I got the networks from you over at AntiqueRadio site a week or so back (thanks again). I'm currently installing some caps on one of my transistor radios, and will try to tackle the Predicta soon.

Congrats on the website Crist.

Just finished installing my networks a few hours ago. TV (Predicta Holiday) fired up with no problems. Picture quality and sound are much improved. My board was updated a few years ago, but all the networks were original except K4. Picture adjusting parameters are improved as well. Thanks.
