Guys,
I got a Princess that included the stand.
I decided to draw up a set of construction drawings so anybody could build one. The stand is pretty simple. The brackets are spot welded to the legs. You could use some 4-40 flat head screws, nuts, and washers to bolt the brackets to the legs. Instead of the 6-32 weld nuts, you could use some 6-32 flat head screws through the bracket into the wood spreader bar. Use what you like. However I would not use sheet metal screws for the spot weld substitution.
Here are some pics of my stand followed by the pdf drawings. They are full size and print out on a 36 x 72 inch paper.

I was so surprised how low those stands are. They are a must if you have a Princess or Debutante. It's so mid-century cool.
The only negative with them is the gold finish is usually corroded and as soon as you start to clean them, you're down to sliver metal. One of these days I want to use some ideas I got recently to convincingly recreate the gold electroplate.
