Color televison was introduced in Japan in 1960. I'm curios, what videocamera did they used. "R.C.A." TK-41 or they made theyr own cameras?

The NHK museum in Tokyo has some early cameras including a TK-41 clone. I don't know if this was a single experiment or if many were made for the studios.

Victor in Japan was RCA Victor's licensee, so JVC/Victor likely had an RCA TK 41 version or could have.

Merchantilist (http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/Mercantilism.html) Japan's overriding rule for selection of a camera is never pay for an import:
They would rather fall on a sword than buy anything from America.

A link to the NHK museum in Japan. RCA TK-41 used by NHK TV for their early color broadcasts:https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g1066451-d4689708-i99229717-NHK_Museum_of_Broadcasting-Minato_Tokyo_Tokyo_Prefecture_Kanto.html

Not so (at least in the beginings). "Hitachi" CT-150 color tv sets had "R.C.A." 22CYP22A picture tubes.

I've seen early Japanese transistor radios with American transistors in them, I also have an APF desktop calculator from the 1970s that has an American Texas Instruments CPU IC in it.
