Had to replace my 9 year old Samsung 46" LN-T4681 and purchased a 55" MU6290. About 2 days later my neighbor bought a MU6300 and is telling me it's a better set. The compare feature on the Samsung site is pretty much useless, as most of the feature show as n/a. All I've been able to glean from the interweb is that the 6300 has a universal remote and bluetooth capability, both not a concern to me. So...is it "buyers remorse" or are they pretty much the same in video quality. :scratch2:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Televisions/comments/7bk846/samsung_mu6290_vs_mu6300_are_these_the_same_model/

"Only 3 differences between the 2... MU6300 has Bluetooth, 2 speakers instead of 1, and it's refresh rate is 120hz instead of 60hz"

That may be wrong, as both are stereo.

UHD Comparison indicates your neighbor's set is a year newer model.

Generally speaking, Samsung models that end in '90' are club models (Sam's and Costco). Same TV, with a perhaps a very small tweak or two the retailer required to reduce the retail costs, in an effort to justify your spending $$$ on a membership to shop in a lousy big box store.

Also, the M in the model number designates the model year (2017). So one set is not a year newer than the other. MU6300 = 2017 Ultra High Definition series 6300. Trust me, sold these damned things for years.
