I've been interested in the Theremin for over six years now. I got my first Theremin Christmas 2011. It's a Moog Etherwave Standard, and I still have it. Unfortunately, the external power supply was lost four years ago during an extensive home repair, and I have not practiced since. Tomorrow, I will be ordering a new power supply, and will resume my practicing. I know some music theory from my four years in high school band, but I'm sure there is still a whole lot for me to learn if I want to be good at it.

Well, you have missed Clara Rockmore's birthday, March 9 (1911), this year, but you still might commemorate her death on May 10 (1998).

One of my favorite Youtube channels, Rob Scallon, does heavy metal riffs on unusual instruments. He has a Theremin bit:

I have a power supply on the way FINALLY. Now I can start practicing again.
