I get this weird thing that happens with my Wife's DS Lite ever since she dropped it in the toilet back over the summer. It operates ok (surprisingly) except for two problems:

1. Top screen will randomly freeze sometimes.

2. L button won't work normally.

Sometimes when the screen freezes, you have to hold the L button to allow the game to be seen on screen. If you don't hold the L button, the game will continue to run but the screen will freeze.

I know I can just buy her another one, but this thing almost still works. Has anybody seen anything like this? What does it take to fix this issue?
