Phil Nelson 08-23-2016, 11:57 PM Yes, it's the CTC-11 that sits in my office; that pic was taken during restoration. http://antiqueradio.org/art/RCACTC-11InCabinet1.jpg You can read the whole story at http://antiqueradio.org/RCACTC-11Television.htm . Regards, Phil Nelson Phil's Old Radios http://antiqueradio.org/index.html old_coot88 08-24-2016, 01:25 AM I remember the broken wire to the convergence coil during your resto. :D bluenorm 08-24-2016, 09:21 AM that set looks familiar to me. DavGoodlin 08-24-2016, 10:04 AM Others may disagree but the CTC11 is the best RCA roundie IMHO. Not just saying that because I have the blonde version of this set but.... With color circuit both advanced AND simplified by 1961, the hard-wired color stages, the big HV cage and the generally solid construction that seems to resist the ravages of heat that later RCA's suffered. TUD1 08-24-2016, 10:07 AM I remember adjusting vertical hold. I did it yesterday. ChrisW6ATV 09-05-2016, 08:08 PM Whenever I see that captioned picture come up (again) on Facebook, I post a link to Phil's original article. holmesuser01 09-07-2016, 04:48 PM The CTC-10 has the same control layout. I own one of them. |
