This is a movie I have desired to see since i was a child...and saw it on a late-night tv slot.
(For those too young to know...before the mid-80's or so...TV was MUCH more limited than now..a handful of channels available and cable was NOT universal. Channels ALL went "off air" EVERY night--usually by 3AM or so...even earlier sometimes. This was on a "late movie" segment. I do NOT have all of the movie...just a "fragment" of it. )
This is the movie "Beg...Borrow or Steal"...from 1973. It is about a group of guys who see "no way out" financially..who are ALL disable in some way or another...and so they set out on a robbery. I saw it in maybe 77 or 78. This fragment shows a TV shop of the period...with a disabled technician working on an RCA XL-100 vertical chassis. ALso seen in the background is what looks like some sort of Color CRT tester/rejuv, not sure of the brand.
I REALLY want this movie...but it is not available...at least YET... SOMEONE seems to have it though...hence the fragment. I just thought the TV shop might be interesting here.
