Is yours missing? Or just not functional? If yours is the typical horsehoe magnet pickup of that era, the magnets tend to lose megnetism over time. These can be re-magnetized to make them work again.

Sadly mine is missing. It is an excellent condition set with great original finish. A small repair and the radio works great but no pickup. It must have failed at some point and a previous owner pulled it for repair and never got to it.
