Hi There, I am just getting into the hobby of vintage TV's.

I am about to get 1st set, a Pacific Mercury TV.
It was found in a Storage Locker by my sister who was helping
to clean out an estate.

I am sure glad I found this site, I am sure I am gonna need
help if I am ever going to get this set to work again.

I never saw any Pacific-Mercury sets around here.
They also supplied sets to Sears, maybe only for the western U.S.
It could be that Warwick took them over. They used the same supplier number 456, on some sets, as well as 528, 529.

I dont have the set yet. I hope to soon. :)

Through Google searches I found that it was a Pacific Mercury. On the set, it just says Mercury. Working condition is, of course, Unknown.

Welcome! I'm from just south of you on I-43, in Beloit. Still have family up there in the Shaw.

I haven't heard that term in ages.
There was a boys detention home in Waukesha, that they referred to as "Shaw". I don't think, it's there anymore. :scratch2:

miniman82, perhaps we can get together? :)
In addition to my vintage radios, I have 20+ pinball machines,
pachinko games, 3 video games, bowing machine and other
arcade stuff..

Perhaps when I retire, I'm active duty Navy in Virginia right now.
