Definitely a rare TV. Unusual TV sets like that are the most sought-after, although because of it's size and weight would be of moderate value. old_coot88 02-11-2014, 04:25 PM It looks like the ancestor or the GE Forecaster.:D http://rogerwilkerson.tumblr.com/post/51109148889/general-electric-forecaster-television danny 02-11-2014, 04:51 PM hi it looks as if this uses the same shassis as my chinese clasic tv radio, phono combo a real work of art. That is some nice deco styling! stromberg6 02-11-2014, 07:35 PM I recently saved a TS-125 chassis, 40 tubes, that was going to be dumpster fodder. The thing is rusty, and the vertical dial glass isn't there, but if all goes well, I hope to get it going again. It has the Dumont 12QP4 tube, which I hope has a little life left. I'll post progress on this when I start on it. Clearly a deluxe chassis from an engineering standpoint, at least on paper, IMO. |
