That looks like fun. I remember reading about the SSTV receivers with P7-phosphor CRTs in the mid-1970s.

Yes i have tried to make a mechanical version of the classic SSTV i have no interest in the converters and pc sound card SSTV these were the days when if you wanted to watch SSTV you had to make your own TV .

The Tubes are pretty pricey these days so i came up with this idea after a few designs to see if i could make a mechanical one that acts like the P7 CRT .

No worries i am casing it at the moment for safe keeping ..
I am perhaps 40 years to late for this system to be of any interest to the computer set in SSTV but as far as i know its the only Glow screen type mimicking the P7 CRT....i know of 2 other Paper print out SSTVs from the 70s i am pretty sure there is no fax or SSTV using glow paint .
So in a way its a new type of monitor ,i have also tried it in NBTV and it works as well at higher speeds on a non moving screen, i suppose the time of the after glow can be controlled by the laser intensity as it still works .
