I once saw a Truetone (Western Auto) that looked similar. technicolor 04-09-2013, 11:16 PM That looks like a store brand B&W combo from the mid '60's. I once saw a Truetone (Western Auto) that looked similar. Really, u think that's b&w? KentTeffeteller 04-28-2013, 03:05 PM The Record changer looks to be V-M made, which eliminates Magnavox. They used Collaro changers. I think this one looks Zenith, Philco, or something along those lines. Might also be Motorola or Admiral. zeno 04-28-2013, 03:18 PM Zenith used almost all VM, looks zenith to me & deep enuf for color.. 73 Zeno Electronic M 04-28-2013, 06:23 PM Zenith used almost all VM, looks zenith to me & deep enuf for color.. 73 Zeno I don't think Zenith would split the control face in to three like that...Not really their style. Also from the styling I'd say it is roundy era and too shallow for a roundy CRT. Heck it might even be an audio only system. dieseljeep 04-28-2013, 09:17 PM Really, u think that's b&w? It might be a GE and definately a B/W set. GE used those large pot metal knobs on their stereos. Tony V 04-28-2013, 09:45 PM I'm with DJ...looks like a GE to me also. Cabinet looks too shallow to be a color set. AUdubon5425 04-29-2013, 02:07 AM The Record changer looks to be V-M made, which eliminates Magnavox. They used Collaro changers. Believe it or not, Magnavox did source changers from others such as V-M, but probably 90% of what they used were Collaros (that's a very unscientific guess.) dieseljeep 04-29-2013, 08:45 AM I'm with DJ...looks like a GE to me also. Cabinet looks too shallow to be a color set. Probably a Wm Tell cabinet. technicolor 04-29-2013, 09:00 AM I thought i updated this, it was a broke ge. Pretty sure she sold it. |
