Was cleaning out the "hoard", and thought I'd post a pix of this set.
It's an 80's Hitachi AC/DC color set
These were so expensive back in the day, now.. probably couldn't give it away. I've had it in storage forever, but did hook it to a DTV box, and of course, fantastic picture.

I had a little Panasonic similar to that, only with varactor tuning. I lent it to a friend and her stupid cat knocked it off the shelf, killing it.

here is a screen shot. Also dug out the Zenith (1990) on the left. That was probably the last era of Zeniths that was good, before it all went to hell.....

We had a storm in summer Y2K that zapped our house, it killed a bunch of stuff-My 1977 Yammy CA-2010, tuna, my B&O TT, my JRC NRD-535D SW set, a Panasonic CT-3311 2.75" color set, & my sister's TV in her room. I bought her a 12" RCA color set at Wal-Mart for something like $58-I marvelled how they could make a 12" color television for that, ship it all the way from China, sell it for THAT cheap, & still everybody along the line made some sort of profit on it...She finally got rid of it a couple years ago, but I think it STILL worked..

It looks like Ben Cartwright is talking to George Costanza from Seinfeld. :D
