I was hoping to find one so I could know the model names of my sets, and all the other 11 models. Thanks!

Model names are also listed in the back of RCA Field Service Guides. Not sure if they're 100 % complete though. Seems like some oddballs show up every now and then.

Do you have the model numbers for the set names your looking for?

Yes, I will post them tonight when I get home. I have 2 CTC 11 sets :D

Mark, Here's what they have listed for those model numbers. They also list the tuner numbers for those models.

212G885MU Abington CTC-11D

212G885MV Abington CTC-11C

212G885RV Wentworth CTC-11E

212G835MU Wakely CTC-11D

212G835MV Wakely CTC-11C

I just picked up the 212G885MV Abington CTC-11C in Minnesota a few weeks ago and I have the 212G835MV Wakely CTC-11C that I picked up last summer. It's the one my landlord "helped" move. I have to fix that cabinet yet but am working on the chassis of both of these sets right now. I have to say, I really like the 11 chassis. The one in the Abington has almost ALL Sprague orange drops from the factory. The other one has maroon drops that I may replace with Spragues if I can get enough of 'em.

Thanks a lot Kevin, I really appreciate you finding the names for me. I have an RCA manual somewhere but it's in storage until I can dig it out when the weather gets nicer.

You're very welcome. I still cringe when I think about that landlady helping incident.

Yeah, tell me about it. I have to see her and the tv everyday so I'll never forget. The bright side however, is the fact that I can fix it and replace the photo finish with real wood veneer. It will be much prettier than it ever was. The only downside is that it won't be all original anymore. But, I gotta do something with it, it's still wayyy too nice to part it out.

Hey Kevin, if you get a chance, no rush, could you please look at what the part number is for the VHF tuning knob on the 212G885MV Abington set. My book is still buried :( Thanks, I need it to try and see if I can get a knob that's not cracked and missing a piece:)

Does anyone know what the part number is? I am hoping maybe Moyers has it. I just got a new fine tuning knob from them and it sure looks nice :)

I don't see any knobs listed in the field service guide parts listing. Sams lists knobs for the various 211 models, but no 212's. :dunno:

I wonder why they didn't put the 212's in there? Oh well, I asked Moyers if they had any knobs by using the model and chassis number. Hopefully they have one, or someone here has a good used one they could sell me. Thanks again Kevin for looking.

Is your set the same style cabinet as the CTC-10 Abington?

No, oddly enough. The re-used the name but on a different cabinet completely. Mine is a lowboy that resembles the CTC10 Glendale (Randolph without remote)

Talon lists one on their RCA parts page:

Kevin, That picture is very close to what I have. Mine is like that, but with a black center that has a white stripe in a circle and a protruding outer ring (part that is broken off). I'll post a pic of it as soon as I can, the internet at home sucks right now. Might have to go sit at Micky D's for a while:D. However, I like this knob better. I wouldn't be upset about putting this one on instead. It has a nice polished brass insert instead of the black with stripe if I remember right.

I'm not sure if it's correct, though. The RCA knob directory lists the first number for your model. I suppose they likely made a few running changes during production. I think I'd be happy just to have a working knob. :D
