im looking for a sams photofact for the 1968 magi chass # t9380100aa i cant seem to find one, i think its folder 1037-1 , here is what the chassie looks like. thanks

this magi must be a lightening victum so far i found the .047 / 600 right off the power in plug was exploded ,the circuit breaker has to much resistance ,a few 1/2 watt resisters are poped in two side ways ,had one that was 1000 ohm became 11.2 ohm i keep finding signs of a lightening strike damage .

Is the power supply transformer primary okay? Even though the primary resistance will be small you may want to hook up a suicide cord to it with a variac and confirm it's good before proceeding any further.

I'd question the Sams Photofact you need. By the looks of the CRT socket it's a roundie and the folder you need will be earlier. Magnavox did use that (common) chassis style into square tube set production runs.

Roundie sets were pretty well out of production before photofact numbers were hitting 1000 I believe.

yes primary is ok and the tv plays the owner had it plug in trying show me, i told its ok ill take it from here .i notice everything was running under powered when i started checking it out ,like it was pluged into 90volts first thing that i noticed the 1v2 tube was barely lit but i still exceptable focus started voltage test the 1v2 tube fil. was only getting less than .5mv thats before the 3 ohm resister .then i just pulled the chassie then i found all the little things.

got everthing else now up and running pretty good, it has nice clear strong crt. it had three bad tube's one leaky lytic cap two poped resisters not burnt, that one cap on line in .047 / 600 exploded .im just now down to color the service switch i think needs replacing i cleaned good but it intermittenly cuts out on normal setting, and there might be a loose solder joint on that board to , if i warp it or move it around my color changes all over the place,but im still interested in a schematic if anyone can help im kinda flying blind ,would like to go over somethings i found a if/rf coil adjusting tool someome lost in the set.

make sure you dip the horizontal output tube current. It'll help keep the flyback healthy.

this one is a roundie ,the flyback looks like it its new out of a box ,but that dont mean anything iv seen nasty parts work better than new looking ones before .i like to find a schematic so i can check some voltages and spec's are.
