Kewl set...You guys up away from here are SO lucky...We NEVER find stuff like that down here... We didn't HAVE TV til '54, TVs were expensive, & NE TN was still a pretty "Poor" place then....We didn't have AC power county-wide til '52, & I'm sure even in '55, there were a few holdouts who didn't want it/couldn't afford it.

Argh!!!!!
When I first had a look at your first photo of the set's rear view, I thought your LED festooned flashlight was some kind of nightmare ballast.

that flashlight i have can be a pain , dont like the big magnet at the end ,its ok sometimes just don't like to get it to close to digital electronic's esp. when working some parts of modern cars like dash clusters. or like color picture tubes ,but if that happens i made a long time ago a hand held degauseing coil

Nice, I like those copper plated chassis.

Looks like it has UH&F, not useful but an extra nice option for those years!

Nope, not my dog. Just a cool picture I happened to stumble upon a while back. The caption read something like stoner dog is watching you. It just struck me as very funny and cool.
