Looks more Zenith-y to me.

I think it looks GE-ee-ee myself....

The round woofer and the vertical channel knobs don't say quite say Zenith to me either....and there's a script on the lower portion of the CRT bezel. :scratch2:

GE or a clone? If someone had a good chassis/crt but junk cabinet, it wouldn't matter much the brand, you could make it work. Sorting out all the control panel components vs. your chassis would be a challenge but I think it would be kinda fun.

I think so too, and I think I have that identical model. Mine has a busted CRT neck, and I think the top finish is water-damaged. I can't remember. Too bad the distance is so far, or it might be worth one of us getting the other, and have one nice set.

I only looked at the bezel, so I'm sure I pulled the trigger too fast. The tuner does not look like a Zenith at all. Maybe a CTC 10/11? Maybe not.
I just emailed the advertiser. I will post the answer if/when received.

Close, but no cigar. The bottom row of controls is different, and so is the right hand grille.

The GE clone sets I saw all used an RCA bezel with the General Electric emblem in place of the New Vista Color emblems (or whatever RCA was using at that time). I've seen at least one model where they purposely installed the RCA bezel upside down and put the GE emblem on top. Since some of the RCA's had the emblem in the middle this could still be a General. As for the controls, could be difference between a CTC-11 & 12.

Mine's a CTC-12 clone, except for the tuner.

Looks like this will have to remain one of life's mysteries.
No reply after repeated attempts.

We had a "practice set" in HS shop that was a GE that looked like that.

It was an RCA clone chassis "CA" from 1965 with a 21FJP22.
It worked OK but had almost no red and I practiced using the CRT tester on it.
Needless to say, it wouldn't restore.

I'd say a CB-21 from 1966 was similar, but never saw one of those.
