Nice but low power (10 watts) GE 1950's program amplifiers attract big bids

Says made by ADC for GE on side: Better transformers than RCA BA-24C ?

http://www.waltzingbear.com/Schematics/RCA/BA-24A.htm

Based on RCA version ? which sounded good

I have the 600--50k input Xformers from RCA BA-24's ( the separate vibration isolated sub chassis w/ 12AY7 socket)
They seem different than GE version

probably by guys using and/or modding them in a hi-fi biamped horn speaker system. I've seen ad's on craigslist where the seller ripped 8 watt per channel tube amps (single ended) out of reel to reel decks and marketed them as ultra high-end giant killer amps

i bet they do sound great with the correct speaker

Here's a whole bunch of S.E. 6BQ5 amps from early Akai Tape Rec. I've listened to comp drivers (JBL 2440, Altec 802) driven directly by single ended tube in Bi-Amp. Sounds best.
