recommended for your Philco roundie

What, nothing that looks good on top of the set, and not just the roof?

I've got a Philco roundy with the same control layout so I may print that and hang it on the wall above the set.

Some guy at General Cement probably got a gold tie tack and a week's vacation for putting together that promotion with Philco!

Wow, all these years, I've wondered whatever happened to that "General Cement" mentioned in the alignment instructions on the Photofacts.

DOH! old_tv_nut you are soooo right! For some feeble reason what's left of my mind equated cement with concrete! I guess from too many years sniffing their adhesive and chemical products while working on the Roundies.

Wow! Look at those prices! Back in the day that was a lot of money for an antenna that the math does not add up. In the 80’s my favorite was the Zenith CromaColor antennas. Great price and great performance. My friend is still using one that I installed 25 years ago.

The antennas zenith marketed appear to be made by Jerrold Electronics of Philadelphia. Consumer reports usually rated them tops in performance.
They were much more solidl-built than the Channel Master products.
