View Full Version : Philco Roundie in Santa Monica Eric H 08-14-2011, 04:50 PM http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/ele/2541785136.html Says it's "similar" to picture so who knows what you'll get. WISCOJIM 08-15-2011, 06:19 PM Lots of misleading info in the seller's ad. Model number is R6508WA, a rectangular set, not a roundie. http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/1626/p1000418n.jpg http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/8297/p1000419c.jpg . Electronic M 08-15-2011, 07:23 PM It is still worth preserving though. bgadow 08-15-2011, 11:14 PM He would have to come down in price. I know $45 isn't a fortune, but I don't know if I could go over $20 for this. As advertised-beat up! Finding the missing control panel trim won't be easy. The safety glass could be scarred. But, these could be decent performing sets. A good project. kx250rider 08-16-2011, 09:57 AM Add $300 for the parking ticket you'll get, 'cause you'll need to park on the sidewalk next to a fireplug in that town. Charles zenith2134 08-16-2011, 02:06 PM I wouldn't pay more than 20 for that set. DavGoodlin 09-02-2011, 11:22 AM That is 1968 vintage. The CRT's on those were kinda soft like on GE's and MAGs. I beleive I have the knobs and escutcheon for that set! Let me know if you got it. Dave 63 |
