I got this convergence board at the donation auction at Extravaganza reciently, and wanted to know if the pots could be used to replace some bad ones on my CTC-16 clones. Anyone know if this would work, or what sets used this board?

Sure, if they physically fit and are of the same value.

That board is from a newer Magnavox. It used a card-edge connector, instead of being hard wired.

Well I guess the best way to findout if they are the right value is to unsolder them and conect them to an ohm meter.

I find the fact that it is from magnovox interesting. It always seems that whenever I get anything from magnovox it is always incomplete or parts. Why I don't know, just seems to be my luck.

Some of those pots will have the value embossed into them. I have swapped them with good results myself. In some cases I went with the next larger size, for example, replaced a 20ohm with a 25ohm. I also save any of these boards I find, for this purpose.
