Beware of that dam foam rubber! It screws up everthing it is in. I know they make foam rubber that does not break down as I have seen very old stuff that lasts like the whitesh kind seems to last. Why would they use the cheap stuff on such valuable tape reels?

I would like to teach the one guy some manners to stop interrupting! He cut the guy off as he was telling us about the machine! Makes me mad as hell!

This guy is having what I call lots of fun. He mentions a good reason to appreciate skaters. Are the bearings really the same? He must be joking. Either way it is funny to say. I thought kids that like skateboarding are just too lazy to ride a bike what with all that upper body activity it requires.

I would most definately prefer servicing and operating one of these over doing such with any of my lady friends: http://youtu.be/p5S9yPsQbUk
Does anybody know if there are any such first generation, vacuum tube, video machines still operational? I would love the challenge of restoring one.

Actually he just edited the clip down. I don't think he interrupted.

Not many tube quad machines built, a few survive. Expensive to keep operational and it takes an old school TV engineer to operate and maintain one.
