Wasn't this in the classifieds here?? Im glad someone got it. Awesome set! Love the cabinet.
Looking at the schematic it has one transistor labeled ACC on the chroma board.

I was hoping somebody would catch that one. I had a table model -31 and sometimes I wish I kept it. Hmmm, wonder if the Cap'n ever had any luck fixing it up? It was while working on that set that I discovered just how wide an array of NOS RCA parts Moyers has!

The CTC27/31 had some kind of an odd-ball color demod circuit in it. The colors all seemed to be pastels. I just never saw a great picture on those.

Oh, the memories

That set looks so much like the GL759WK I grew up with (even though that set was a CTC-38). Nice to see you have it running.

Our CTC-38 was anything but trouble-free. It ate 6GH8s for appetizers, blew a power transformer at about 4 years, and the CRT at eight. three years later, the connections on the circuit board started dropping like flies, and the set went to the curb about 1981.

a GL759WK could possibly be the only "squarie" console I would be willing to further clutter my abode with.
