That CRT looks a 16T/RP4. The 17BP4 has curved sides and bottom of faceplate. I meant sides, top and bottom of faceplate. Also slightly more viewing area.

I was going to say that too, too square for a 17BP4.
It could still be a good find for someone and the price isn't crazy like so many these days.

Sooo many on these "NIB" tubes that show up on eBay are just like this, old box with a mismatched tube in it, maybe good maybe not.

Good point. I was actually that lone bidder, but the seller pulled the auction :( I could make use of either a 16*P4 or a 17BP4. Plus I like to take a chance every now and then ;)
