You've got to wonder how many of these survived...still it is rather pricey.

Buy it now and you can put on your own warped Beany & Cecil puppet shows for the neighborhood kiddies and scar them for life!:D:D:D

I love the sellers "period correct" Farrah picture!,she was a huge star in the 50's until that scandal with a young Soupy Sales ruined her career!

That thing is in amazing shape considering its age. Reminds me of the ads you'd see in comics from the early 50s selling you a "10' submarine for 2.99!" and you would ultimately be sent a similar cardboard playhouse.

Definitely later than 53, probably more like 58...unless the designers of the real sets took their cues from the ones who made the toys. :)

Cool item. The original owner obviously didn't have children, or that playhouse would have been loved to death decades ago.
