Looks like the front two legs are missing...

It still looks good without those extra 2 legs. I wonder how well the cabinet is holding out though..

Can those legs be detached or have they been cut off?

Its a poor design, the legs glue into little dowel posts, they should have been threaded. The first emperor I owned had a leg snapped off by the previous owner because he mis-judged the positioning of the TV as he slid it into his truck. SNAP goes the little leg and then realized you need to pick the set up higher. Even if its on carpet and you slide the set to service it, those legs are so weak and fragile, it takes nothing to wreck them. They serve no purpose other than decoration.

Has this one got the "good stereo" in it, IOW--the one with the big amp, seperate from the tuner, mounted on the bottom of the cabinet--or is it one with a "one piece" stereo chassis, like I have already in a Zenith non-tv stereo console?? I could tell if I could see under the left hand door.

You'd think the seller could at least add a photo of the set with any of the doors open, but Im sure he's thinking the cabinet is whats going to sell, not the "TV"...

EDIT: I see he offered to send pictures upon request, but still.

relisted BIN .99 or opening bid of .09, seems like some one could save it since they are just giving it away.

I would take it .....IF I could find a way to get it here. I WILL have room for it now.

Well, I bought it!!
They have some time, a couple of months or so, till maybe April or so, till it has to be gone. I figure something can be worked out by then, and if not, I'll give it up to a VK'er close to the area.

Better than for it to meet a packer blade!!

Nice. Im curious what chassis this one has. They came out in '65 with the 25MC46 and then '67 was the last with the 20X1C38. Not sure what the 66 was, but probably still using a 25MC46. I always liked the '67 best, it had a unique control panel in which the tint and color indicators had a slide rule type of status bar that would light up.
