There's a nice 1970 Zenith SC 600 at a Thrift here in town.

My truck's engine is in pieces now or I'd probably go get it (and dump the 66 Motorola off in return) it's outside but I was assured it would be moved under the awning before it rains, if it's still there in a couple days I might go buy it at least and pick it up later.

They didn't have a price on it yet but sets outside are usually less than $10 in most cases.

The set is identical to the set Doug has on You Tube:

I really like that guys videos!
He's got all kinds of neat tv's,Seeburg background system videos and even a couple videos of his 1960 Chevy Impala with it's original six and manual trans!

He did a great series of videos on how to remove "cataracts" from tv tubes too.

That's actually a very nice looking Tv,I like the Danish Modern style of the cabinet,I hope you are able to rescue it.

Man, I'd kill for that set... But don't know how I'd get it from your area. Anyone know what shipping might cost?

Hi Carmine,
Shipping would be really expensive, over $300 based on past experience, but you could try Plycon or Craters & Freighters, they will give you a free qoute...it sounds like Eric H wants it though.

I can guarantee C&F will be over $500 to ship something like that from CA to MI.

I don't know if it works either.

George Jetson, aren't you here in So Cal? :scratch2:
