"Mahogany console BW TV with AM/FM radio and phonograph. In great working order (record player could use a new needle) and the cabinet is a beautiful
piece of furniture.

Never too late to give a great gift or add a collectible to your home. May consider trade for Zenith Transoceanic Radio in working order, or possible other
Zenith or Emerson 50's radio. "

Those sets make great pictures when working!

You might take a CRT tester with you... They use either a 21Ep4, 21fp4, or 21zp4(?) which has the vertically flat face - hard to get if you need it and not easy at all to substitute because of the face.

Plus the time & dollars you'll invest replacing all of the electrolytic & paper capacitors. Don't count on it working indefinitely, otherwise.

If the CRT is good, the fact that it works* means that the hard to find parts are in good shape (flyback, transformer and such), in which case a recap is well worth the effort.

*I assume "works" means that it functions as it did the day it left the factory, not that just a dial light lights up.

Sadly, you can hardly give away big combos like that around here. The owner may be lucky to sell it for 95 cents.

Well i topped off the brake fluid and trusted my 55 studebaker for a 30 minute grocery getting drive today.. wish she could make it down to portland but..someone could/should prolly pick her up, bet you can get her for 50 bucks, no one wants these big sets.

Oh and i blame you guys for the tv bug, i just wanted my '57 zenith royal back and working, now im hooked on old cars, radios AND tv's.
