Anyone have the schematic/tube layout of the Admiral 20A1?

I ran into one today the guy wants to have restored. Problem is. all the tubes are missing and the thing is covered heavily in dirt.

the CRT is still intact with good black getters. But i dont have a way to test it unless i can throw it on my emerson chassis that has my 16RP4.

any ideas?

Thanks.

tossed the CRT on the emerson chassis. I think its a 10BP4 but the tube is so dirty i cant tell yet....

uses a double ion trap magnet.

Surprisingly, the tube came right to life with a raster. but its kinda dim. gonna let it run for awhile to see what happens. I also cant focus it in either. but thats probably because im using a round CRT in a rectangular set.

here is a couple of pics with the CRT running on the emerson chassis.

Brightness/contrast cranked all the way up, and yea its pretty nasty plus the dag is falling off..... almost all gone.

I also have the Sams if you're interested.

the CRT has gotten 50% brighter since i took the last picture, as i let it ran. but the chasis decided it wanted to loose horiz sync. stupid thing. hehe.

FWIW, ungrounded dag (or patches of ungrounded dag) can cause weird effects mimicking sync and AGC problems.

Here's a link in case you want to refresh the aquadag:

There may be other/cheaper sources. This stuff works, in any case.

Slip Plate looks and works great and it's only $8.50 a can from Graingers.
