Ms Grumpy

I know that some of you know that grumpy and I also have another website called Audiokarma. Every year, for the past few years we have adopted families for the holidays with donations from the members at Audiokarma.
We originally started out to adopt a family during the holidays to show our children the importance of helping those who are less fortunate than themselves. We told the members about what we were doing, and the members started sending us donations. The Families for the Holidays, as we call our donation program, has grown tremendously.
Last year Audiokarma adopted 27 families. We helped a single dad who had been injured and was unemployed, give his kids bikes for their birthdays (both had birthdays in December), as well as Christmas gifts. We have a great relationship with the organization Volunteers of America, and every year we try to help the families that may be difficult to get help for. Like the one we did with 9 children, we shopped, wrapped and delivered presents to this family.
I am going to copy the post and put it on the Videokarma site, to give anyone the opportunity to help, if they choose to.
May everyone have a safe and healthy holiday season.
Nancy
