Greece = northwest suburb of Rochester. Not too far from where I live.

keep that one.not a fan.i had two of those beasts back in the day.they were in like new condition but the picture was terrible.the blues were turquoise, the reds were orangish, etc.brought new meaning to putrid.did change out crt in one with a channelmaster and it did perform pretty well.color actually was very nice and pleasant to look at.okay, someone save it and replace the crt.

Everytime I see a picture of that series it brings back nightmares. Never saw a good red on those guys, but it has a great orange. Old people liked them because the picture had no detail, I guess they liked the smooth picture better.

God.. I NEVER saw a Motorola tube set that had a picture worth a sh*t. We had a few on our service route. They were always a pain to work on,always glitchy, and NEVER had a decent picture. Surprising tho, because Motorola's were considered an "engineers set" They were overbuilt, and built like tanks. They also cranked out some beautiful all wood cabinets, and were expensive. Such a waste for how horrid they were.

Eric, No.. because you could turn it into a daily watcher and have the best repair skills of us all because you would have to repair it every day. LOL!

I think that line said it all, no need to go into all that technical babble, because the cabinet was as good as it got.
