Wasn't sure where to post so here it is. I have a Sony kv-36xbr200 that I fudged the board on while demanding I relocate it myself. Never try to rest a 36 inch set on a small piece of furniture. While I've got most of the board patched back together I don't have any chroma. I tried both the composite and YC inputs on the back panel so I suspect there's something amiss around the video jungle chip. However with the complexity of the set I'd like to review the signal path before going in with the scope. The set's living in my bedroom on the dresser but turned halfway around with the back removed. The blatant dumpiness I think is depressing me for the past week. I'd like to watch some movies instead.

I don't have the 36XBR200 manual, but Sony ESI in Canada has the 36XBR450 on their site:

http://esi.sony.ca/esupport/esupport/CD%20Rom%20Service%20Manual/062001/thiscd/sm-e/tv/9-965-898-01.pdf

Might be close - worth a FREE look!

BTW, Sony 1999-2002 service manuals are available 24/7 at the Canadian Sony ESI site:
http://esi.sony.ca/esupport/esupport/CD%20Rom%20Service%20Manual/

The directories require a drill down to the "thiscd" directory to get to the meat. No hacking required!

Cheers,
