I also question the description of a 22" color set.

If that tube is 22", those knobs are HUGE! I'm thinking 13".

Is there any such thing at a 22" color TV, save the ultra-rare mid-50's Westinghouse?

I'm sure that's a 17" set as I have a Chromacolor II from '77 just like it. On this set, I don't see the "solid state chromacolor II" phrase under "Zenith"; so, this one probably uses the system 3 chassis. I'd part with mine in a heartbeat if I could get the kind of money this guy thinks his is worth.

By reading the description, its reminds of one of those 60's TV ads thats trying to make a bland and basic TV sound exciting. He needs to spice it up a bit with some bs like they did in those old ads, include some familiar lines like: "A large 4" twin cone speaker for room filling sound, A tone control so you can set the sound level to your personal taste of either high tones or bass tones, the super deluxe chassis providing 25000 volts of picture power all incased in a modern styled compact cabinet for todays modern living". Then there is an image on the TV screen in the ad of either a football game or an attractive woman with the disclaimer next to the TV: *simulated picture*.

I think I've seen too many Zenith ads, haha.

Wow... you guys got some pretty good sales pitch going on! Let's forget about "lolly-pop color" (I wonder whatever became of that ebay-er).

"It also has an on-off, and sound control on the front of a simulated wood grain speaker panel with additional buttons below. It has two expandable antennas connections on the top back with 4 dials for color and picture Brightness."

Imagine that!

What is it with the prices some people are asking for some of these sets!? Ever sense the analog shutdown I see sets of this vintage on the curb every day. I have about 25 of them sitting In my driveway waiting for me to find time to part them out.
