For some reason I am not seeing the thumbnails in the postings here now. Anyone have any ideas why they no longer show up? This is happening on two different computers, and was working fine.

No, I see where it says attached thumbnail with nothing in the box.

MS just updated XP, maybe something got turned off on your browser?

I suspect a browser problem, but, on one computer I run XP with IE6 and on the other I run Vista with IE7. I never use automatic updates, and only update my operating system if there is a problem. The thing is it was working fine, then nothing, on either computer. I may have done something, but I just don't know what.

Just jumped over and checked the AK site and the thumbnails work fine there. Just not here on VK.

You could try clearing your Cache and Cookies, you'll have to re enter all your names and passwords after that but it might help.

I looked in the AK user control panel and didn't see an option to turn of thumbnails?

I tried reseting the explorer settings to the original defaults. That cleared all the cache and cookies. It didn't help. I found on the control panel attachments page a setting to show thumbnails, but it didn't help.

If you click on the empty attachment box, will it open a new page showing the full size photo?

I have experienced the same thing, and minutes later get locked out with a message the the VK server is too busy.

I've been getting that same message every time I've come to this site for about a week now. A few minutes of reading threads, then get locked out.

Is the new VK server not capable of handling more than a few users at one time???

I was unaware of any server issues for Videokarma.

VK's server should be able to easily handle the same traffic as Audiokarma. In other words at least 500 continuous connections.

Please bear with us while I investigate.

Dave, I've been getting the "Server Busy" message too occasionally for the last week, I figured you were doing some tweaks so I didn't say anything.

Nope no work going on that I am aware of. Need a thread to document what and when its happening to help diagnose it.

We discussed this "server too busy - try back later" issue last week in this thread http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=246161

Since then, I thought it had been addressed, but I'm still getting that same "server too busy" message at least a few times a day. When I try back later, it usually works.

However, I have not been having photo problems such as Bill. Curious to find out if the two are related.

I got the "server too busy" message too, tried several times, same thing, but then went to AudioKarma and came into VidoKarma from the link there with no problem!

Thanks Guys, I think I got it. Reece pointed the way. When I went to AK and used the link to get to VK all was good thumbnails and all. I checked my link and was using Videokarma.net, not sure why. When I changed the link to Videokarma.org, which is what it originally was everything worked fine.
