Although I haven't fully explored the new forum, it seems like all the posts from September to yesterday aren't here. Just curious, and please excuse the thread if I missed an answer earlier.

I noticed that too - also the link from the audiokarma website forwards to an error message.

Grumpy posted that everything from mid-August forward has been lost. Unfortunate.

It's not really lost. It is just no longer accessible directly through the
normal user interface. If you remember a few keywords from an
existing post, you can enter them in google, and it is likely that you will
be directed to the correct thread, as stored at audiokarma. Once you
get there, you can bookmark the url for future reference.

I will post a link to an example I worked out two days ago. Regards.

P.S.: here is the link.

Just read the instructions in the second post of that thread and you will
get to the original thread as stored in the 'audiokarma attic'. Note that
the same thread has been imported to videokarma, but with everything
after August 15 chopped off. Well...

Note added 20090912: as someone else mentioned, it doesn't work
anymore as it did a few days ago. What's up?

Unfortunately the same thing happened on AK when we had to change servers years ago. As well, we lost a bazillion old pics in the server move of I think it was late 03.

Sometimes we just have to deal with some pains of expansion.....I'm sorry about that, but unfortunately it was out of our control.....

What a pitty, I was enjoying my Portacolor thread.

Well, it's more important that we're all still here. After all, the half life of a thread is typically a week or 2, and the loss of the recent posts will go forgotten soon. All of my photos posted on AK are hosted elsewhere, so they're not lost.
