I saw this while browsing some estate sales. It is too big for me to buy, but I was curious if somebody knew who made it, it has a nice looking cabinet. The screen sure looks small in the big cabinet.
I was going to go out today to look, but ended going to some other places instead.

Here is the sale, it is in Berwyn, west of Chicago. There's a nice looking radio near the bottom of the pictures.

Berwyn is golden for old TVs.

People there buy a home, never move and never throw stuff out.

Wow! They have loads of cool stuff. I would have gone, but I was over at the ARCI fest.

I've got the tabletop model in blonde, the 9-407(?). It's got a continuous tuner and FM band. Had it six years and just got around to testing the 10BP4 - it's perfect! Will wonders never cease? Might get around to recapping this winter.

Thank you for the information, I thought the dial looked like something from a Crosley.

Do you know what the prices are like for these items? Reasonable?

Sorry, I didn't make it to that sale so I can't say. Sometimes TVs like that can be really cheap, since they think most people don't want something like that, or it could be really expensive. It depends on the company running the sale. If it is the family running the sale, things are usually cheaper than if it is a company.

I saw that too, I really wanted it. I hope it gets a good home.

Do these use a 630-clone chassis? When I saw the pic I thought it was a home-brew.

I think it's a DuMont chassis.
