And I think it's an early one.

Hi,
this is an early Portacolor. It does not have the label "Portacolor". But look at the knobs, I have an older one:

I'm guessing late 60s-does anyone know when they moved production to Portsmouth? The older of mine is a '67 and was made in Syracuse.

How can I know wether it was made in Syracuse or in Portsmouth?

There's a sticker on the back of most portacolors stating where they were assembled.
Mine is a '66 and was made at Electronics Park, Syracuse, NY.
