The CRT looks pretty strong, The cabinet is less than desirable because someone tried to "fix" it at some point by painting a new "finish" on it.

Neat looking set, but the clock in the background interests me too, we have the same one. Spiegel sold those clocks around 1959/60.

The color is a little high. People tended to adjust the chroma knob too high, color being a new novelity. Nowadays factory presets tend to get it closer to right.

Yeah, the cabinet has been hammered in my opinion. Looks unnatural for one of these early color sets. Not a very good refinish and nothing like the correct blonde finish on this cabinet should look.
